EDISON ARANTES DO NASCIMENTO
He was born in Tres Coracoes, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He was the son of former Fluminense Footballer named Dondinho and Celeste Arantes. He was named after famous American scientist Thomas Edison.
Poverty ruled his childhood days, so he worked in tea shops to fulfill his daily needs. Though his father taught him football he could not able to afford him proper football. He used to play football wearing socks stuffed with newspaper. Gradually he played for many Amateur teams including Sete-de Setembro, canto do Rio, Sao Paulinho and Ameriquinha.
Don't know how many of you are aware of who am I describing about. He's the black pearl of Brazil, who was known as Pele in the world of football.
SANTOS Fc
De Brito introduces Pele to the Santos football club, Sao Paulo and the club were impressed with the young lads amazing talent and sign the 15 year old young Pele for their club in 1956.
Pele made an impressive start to his career by dashing 4 goals in his debut club match against Corinthians Santo Andre on 7th September 1956 at the age of 15.
Next season to his debut Pele has given the regular first team chance and as expected he proved it to be more than worthy by claiming as the leading goal scorer of the season. In 1958 Pele won his first major title with Santos named Campenonato Paulista.
Many European clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid and so on were tried to secure this black pearl's signing after the conclusion of the 1962 world cup which was crowned by Brazil but in order to prevent him from moving to other countries Brazil Nation announced Pele as their National Treasure.

Black pearl Pele was called upon to the Brazil national football team for 1958 world cup squad at the point of time pele became the youngest player to participate and score in the FIFA world cup and he also the youngest player to win the player of the tournament award and also youngest to feature in the world cup football finals.
Pele on his majestic career made numerous number of achievements for both his country and his club side. The most devastating record and unbreakable too was to win three FIFA world cup for his country side Brazil. He is the living legend and he still made himself involved in promoting education and sports for the children's all around the world.
